I’m finding it hard to believe that you are all mine. That when the Sun goes down and the moon and starts light up the night sky, it’s you lying by my side. I fought hard for you, and I won’t ever forget that day that you said you loved me even if I couldn’t love you back. How you fought to remind me why I feel so hard for you in the first place. You proved everyone wrong love. You fought for a better life for the both of us, they said you would eventually just lose yourself completely and that one day you’d just leave me. But here we are, 5months later from that day.. I am so incredibly proud of the MAN you are becoming. Thank you for all of the hard work you do for me. For the long conversations that assure me this is as real as love gets. For your kind soul and comforts me when I’m sick. You that feeling you get.. The one where you stop to think about your life, and all you do is sigh with contentment. You finally found happiness in it’s purest form. I have that every time I see him, when he smiles, an the music he produces with his laughter. Ahh, life us too good to just give up on it. I love you truly
Remember when you were 15 and you felt like nothing was impossible, being fearless, taking chances, laughing at stupid jokes, imagining your biggest dreams coming true. How about when you fell in love with the simplest things? When music spoke your life, and you told your best friend everything..
Why do we forget to be who we really are sometimes? Just a thought that scurried through my mind.
